IASC conference 2017: Practicing the Commons
The International Association for the Study of the Commons (IASC)’s next conference entitled ‘Practicing the Commons – Self-governance, cooperation, and institutional change’ will take place in Utrecht, The Netherlands from 10-14 July 2017.
It will be hosted by the ‘Institutions for Collective Action’ research team of Utrecht University as well as the researchers affiliated with Utrecht University’s Strategic Theme ‘Institutions for Open Societies’ in the historic centre of the city. Over 600 participants, both academics and expert practicioners, are expected from all over the world to exchange thoughts, ideas and practices related to the commons and their governance.
You can sign up as an early bird until beginning of June, starting from 250 € for the whole week including lunch; fees are dependent on people’s income. There is a childrens’ program for parent researchers (starting from 4 -17 yrs) from Monday until Wednesday, which made me very happy to hear.
I will participate with my first paper presentation – so I am even more excited to go!
